Let’s be real: the world doesn't need another clothing brand. But we believed it needed a better way to shop. Kauri & Cloud was born out of a simple frustration—wardrobes filled with pieces that looked great on a hanger, but couldn't keep up with the reality of living in Aotearoa. We were tired of fast fashion that lacked soul, and garments that couldn't handle our famous "four seasons in one day."

So, we decided to create the antidote.

The Meaning Behind the Name

Our name reflects exactly where we draw our inspiration from. The Kauri represents our deep roots—strength, longevity, and grounding in the natural earth of New Zealand. The Cloud is a nod to Aotearoa, the Land of the Long White Cloud, representing lightness, breathability, and the ever-changing skies.

Together, they represent the perfect balance we strive for in every garment: strong, enduring quality mixed with effortless, airy comfort.
