Manaia is a knitted slip-on sneaker built for the days that don't sit still - no laces, no fussing, no bending down in the doorway. The stretch-knit upper moves with your foot instead of pressing on it, the cut-out strap holds you in without digging, and the thick cushioned wedge sole takes the shock out of concrete, supermarket floors and school-run footpaths.

The knit breathes, so feet stay cool. The sole rolls you forward, so you're not fighting a flat shoe by 3pm. Wide feet, tired feet, feet that have had enough of stiff leather - this is the pair you'll keep by the door and reach for without thinking.

Late winter into spring in New Zealand, this is the whole shoe wardrobe: jeans and a jumper, leggings and a coat, or a dress once the weather finally turns.

Sizing & Fit

Measure your foot first - it takes ten seconds. Stand on a piece of paper, mark heel to longest toe, measure the line in centimetres. Then find your measurement in the Your foot length column and order that size.

The chart already has the room built in - every size gives you about 0.8cm of space in front of your toes, which is what a shoe needs to walk properly. Don't order your exact foot length; the column has done that for you. If you're between two rows, or you have a wide foot or a high instep, take the larger one.

Care

Wipe clean with a damp cloth, or hand wash cold with mild soap. Air dry away from direct sun. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
