Ngaio is a soft vintage-floral dress in a warm khaki-oatmeal, printed all over with ochre, rust and charcoal blooms on fine trailing stems. The weave has a slubby linen-look texture that keeps it looking expensive and stops it clinging. A soft V-neck, short cuffed sleeves, and a seam that sits high under the bust - from there the whole skirt is released into a full, easy A-line that swings when you walk.

No zip, no buttons, no fastening at all. It goes on over your head and it's done. The hem falls in a soft curve, a little longer at the sides and back.

Wear it now with a cardigan over the top and boots - that's exactly what it's for through the change of season. Come November the cardigan comes off and it's the same dress, doing a completely different job.
